Willie Mullin's has kindly donated this fantastic opportunity for an all access stable tour of Willie Mullin's Closutton Horse Racing Yard, home of the current and dual Gold Cup winner "Al Boum Photo"
On your visit you will get a chance to see a whole host of Grade 1 superstars as well as the chance to see some of these magnificent horses working on the gallops and ridden by some of the country's top jockeys.
Willie Mullins commenced training in 1988 having worked as assistant to both his father Paddy and to Jim Bolger. He still rates his father as the biggest influence on his career. A former six time amateur champion in Ireland, his greatest moments in the saddle were winning the 1983 Aintree Foxhunters on Atha Cliath and the 1996 Cheltenham champion bumper on Wither or Which
As a trainer Willie has won just about every major prize in Ireland, most of the big ones in the UK and several in France as well for good measure. The Grand National, The King George, The Champion hurdle in England, Ireland and France, the Supreme novice hurdle and numerous Cheltenham bumpers
Despite all of the success he has had throughout his career the last nine seasons have arguably been the best campaigns of his career. His horses have remained remarkably consistent, and the 2017/2018 produced a record breaking season with 212 winners from 797 runners
Willie has been the Champion NH trainer for the last thirteen years and he has won the title fourteen times in total.
Thanks to Liam and Caroline O'Mahoney for organizing this.
By setting a proxy bid, the system will automatically bid on your behalf to maintain your position as the highest bidder, up to your proxy bid amount. If you are outbid, you will be notified via email so you can opt to increase your bid if you so choose.
If two of more users place identical bids, the bid that was placed first takes precedence, and this includes proxy bids.
Another bidder placed an automatic proxy bid greater or equal to the bid you have just placed. You will need to bid again to stand a chance of winning.
